Pastors Bio
Elder Wesley Person is the middle child of five siblings of Agnes Marie Person and the Late Wesley Person, Sr. He was born in Scotland Neck, North Carolina and raised in the Washington, D.C. area. He graduated from Dunbar Senior High School in Washington, D.C. He graduated from Washington Bible College in Lanham, Maryland and received his Bachelors of Arts Degree in Theology and further his education in Educational Leadership in which he received his Master's degree from AIU University. He works for the District of Columbia Public Schools in which he has served for several years and counting.
Elder Wesley Person served with the Salvation Army for over 10 years which he faithfully served and participated in many mission trips all over the world. He volunteered his service as the minister and worked in the soup kitchens of the Salvation Army. He has preached dynamic soul stirring messages throughout the United States. For many years, he served as ordained minister for Baptist Churches. He taught Biblical Studies for Washington Bible College as Adjutant Professor. He served faithfully with churches such as Greater Little Ark Baptist Church, Little Rock Faith Baptist Church and Greater Faith Temple Church of God In Christ in which he assisted in kingdom building.
Elder Wesley Person was later ordained in the Churches of God in Christ. He currently serves as the pastor of the Restoration Temple Church of God In Christ with the Ecclesiastical Washington D.C. Jurisdiction and serves as a National Adjutant of the Churches of God in Christ.
Pastor Wesley Person has a heart for people and pours out of himself to help meet the needs of the people. He reaches the people by demonstrating the love of Christ in not just words but in His deeds.
